 Fundraising went very well not only for us, but we should take a pat on the back for the magnificent effort co-ordinated Nation Wide after the Japanese Tsunami with 5 events organised by JSIR raising the fantastic amount of £2000 for the animals of Japan who were affected by the tragic event. January 2011 - Not a great month for shiba rescue, 4 missing shibas around the country. Pathos is still missing as I write this (feb 8th) , thankfully Mo returned after 23 days, Digby was found after 20 days, but, the bitch lost in Devon sadly went to the Rainbow Bridge. 2 shibas rehomed and far too many call looking for advice on rehoming their dogs....how many will end up coming to rescue remains to be seen but there is a worrying amount of requests to help with rehoming dogs. Including requests to take one old girl aged 13 years and blind after her owner died. Dec 2010 We would just like to take this opportunity to give a HUGE THANK YOU to all who have supported Rescue in whatever why.
